Who has an IT sub?

I'm joining today. A friend,or dude that I thought was a friend, was emailing me JS reports and stopped after he found out I'm lean more toward the left. I always found his practice reports to be very accurate and we don't get many here so I'm ponying up and joining.

    Who else is already there?

If you sign up to Inside Texas, it confirms my opinion of you as an idiot.

All the talent on IT came over here way back - Gerry, Jeff, etc are all ex-IT staffers.

The two main cogs in the IT wheel, Ross and Ross, are two of the laziest mofos in the business.

Take it from an ex-subscriber. Inside Texas sucks.

However, they do have a politics board which I'm sure will appeal to you.

LOL. Their political board is like CNN and MSNBC. Some serious far left loons over there.

That dude be an idiot, bro.

Just like my "friend" I had a conversation with last night. I always tell people that I don't talk politics with friends. She wouldn't accept that. Then when she said that there are only two "blocks" and that she was on one (Democrat) and I was on the other (Republican). I told her simply that I wasn't stuck on either block and I get to freely walking down the street and enjoy life moreso that those stuck on their respective blocks.

She then had the gall to tell me that I indeed was on the "other block" but that I just misrepresent myself when speaking about the subject. So basically, it's one or the other, and if not.. you're a liar.

That's one of the biggest problems with America today. It's either right or left, dem or con, with us or against us. No common ground to be shared. Complete bullshit.

best post of yours I have read and there have been a few. Completely agree.

  • Its not shit, so drop the stupid rhetoric. You voted to raise taxes on some people to give to other people. Transfer of wealth is the hall mark of the liberal agenda. If you don't understand that, that's a problem.

And yet people voted for Romney and still went and filed for food stamps Wednesday morning. It goes both ways. I voted for Obama because of Romney and crew's views on rape, incest and abortion mainly. Followed closely by gay marriage and Mitts lack of transparency. I'm not one to talk politics because frankly it ruffles feathers and I don't like to ruffle my friends feathers. So with that being said, you won't see another political post from me.

In a moment of levity, let me point out the irony of this post juxtaposed with your OP. You have been mooching on a friends IT account. He found out you were a liberal and cut you off. Now you are here trying to mooch on someone else. The irony is probably above your pay grade; but it is funny.

    gordosan

  • You talk about lack of transparency. Tell me the last time Obama said anything that was honest. Start with Benghazi and go from there. Try to explain why new jobless claims jumped by 80,000 the week after the election after having dropped continually before the election. I hope you have the brains to know that everytime Obama speaks, he lies.

Even gay marriage is a transfer of wealth. No one in main stream politics want to restrict what people do in their bedroom. The only thing gay marriage changes is that it gives massive access to marriage monetary benefits to gays, when their is no societal reason to do so. I don't support homosexuality; but I'm not a blatant homophobe. This is will surprise you; but my personal trainer is openly gay. He's a good guy, works his ass off. I went out of my way to help him get his job back as gym director at my club. But I'm not in favor of his current partner get health benefits at my expense.

From my perspective; only fools make social issues their primary reason for voting, especially during times when our economy is on the verge of imploding. I'm pro-abortion within limits. I think Republicans are fools for opposing abortion in any case. But anyone who doesn't vote their pocketbook before anything else is and idiot. Here are two realities. Abortion is here to stay, regardless of what conservative Christians want. Roe v Wade is here to stay, except perhaps being changed in the margins such as calling live birth abortions illegal. Equally, gay marriage is a states rights issue, not a national one .

If you completely flipped social issues and had Democrats opposing abortion and gay rights and Republicans supporting the opposites; but keeping economic issues the same; my vote wouldn't change. The real issue that seperates liberals and conservative is the issue of transfer of wealth. If you don't think that the core of the progressive liberal agenda is taking money from one class of person and giving it to another; you need to go back to the books and learn what you are actually voting for.

Until you understand that basic premise; you are best to stay away from posting on political issues.

No, as I originally said, I plan to sub to the site. The original post was asking who I could expect to see over there. Once again you reach to try to make me look foolish. And just a little nugget, my wife pulls triple what I make a year in inheritance alone. My pay grade doesn't matter. I work because I was brought up to work for what I have.

Tell me how I'm trying to mooch by saying "I'm joining today. A friend,or dude that I thought was a friend, was emailing me JS reports and stopped after he found out I'm lean more toward the left. • I have a sub at IT too. Joined when Gerry and Jeff were over there.

    CornHorn

  • I am over there but don't post. A word of warning. Probably half the threads over there are political. Good news for you is there are lots of liberals on there. The Mod Eric Nahlin is a conservative Republican and participates in the political threads.

    Hookem89

  • Trust me, I dont have to reach to make you look foolish. You do a great job on you own. Glad you married into money. Hope it lasts. Don't expect me to impressed. I respect people who actually make their own success. One of my good friends did the same thing. He's paid for it for forty years. Real men make their own fortunes. Limp dicks think marrying into money make them look successful.

So, if a person believes in ending the life of the unborn and is willing to rewrite thousands of years of history defining marriage that person gets your vote ?

I've been right all along - you're an idiot.

I stopped giving a shit what you think a long time ago. In fact, I remember the exact moment. You got on a thread I started about Garrett Gilbert and blasted me for saying we should go on and start McCoy and Ash. That's the moment I realized you weren't the brightest star in the galaxy.

Forcing someone who was raped by a complete stranger or even worse,a family member,to have a child is terrible. But since youre so worried about our economy, explain to me how more illegitimate children in the world results in less government funded living arrangements. Then explain to me how incest resulting in mental and physical retardation doesn't also drain government resources.

And I could give two shits less what a religious document says about marriage. That's all I have to say about that part of your post.

Not that it really matters, but we all know your original post had nothing to do with who is on IT, but rather a passive/aggressive shot at Get Hooked in order to publicly bring out the conversation that followed.

If your post really was about who's there instead of GH and you are really already joining, what is the need to ask? You will know moments after you join.
If you were thinking about joining you would have written " I'm thinking about joining IT. Who else is already there?"

Again, I don't really care, just pointing out that your original purpose was clear. No need to pussyfoot around it.

BS, you care more about what everyone posts on here than any human being should. "Hey, guys I've never met but talk to online, I'm coming to Austin! Let's hang out! I love the Longhorns and good food!" You care. It's weird how much you care. Accept it. You care a lot.

So on to politics . . . here's the problem as I see it: Id venture to guess 95%+ of all people agree with the above. The problem is that the democrat party PR machine (and in this case, you) tries to paint that as a republican party ideal, which it is not.

    Hornoflatulence

  • I am conservative and have no idea why a working person would vote for Obama and his agenda, but I also realize that others have a different mind set and there are many issues that one votes on besides fiscal issues. I have a partner and close family members and friends that are liberal/progressive and for the life of me just do not see how. We cordially talk about the issues but in the end agree to disagree, just as I do with those of different religions and life styles.

I also get the feeling that what some are getting at is feeling they are now disliked because they have a different view point. This should never happen and is similar to hating some one because they are a different race or religious belief. When you threaten a man's livelihood or beliefs he can get pretty intense and I understand this. My feeling is: hate the idea but like the person where ever possible. I think some of the animosity here came from several threads that got into name calling and crossed the lines of how friends act towards each other. If any are guilty of this then private discussions may be in order but would pm on this so as not to risk amplifying the issue.

    My two cents. peace

  • Do you remember blackdog? He posts over there as tucker. He the butt of jokes there too. There are some nice things about that site but a lot of the negative you are hearing is true. Some of the practice reports are good but a lot of them don't tell you much.

Something like: 1s vs 2s and no tackling. They practiced a redacted play with a pitchback and a pass. 1s looked good vs 2s. Was a spirited practice.
