Chavez apparently is leaving his family with a $2 billion fortune. Another leftist who looted the public treasury while mouthing re-distribution. Okay he was being honest; just in ways that the stupid people who supported him didn't understand.

And trying to take credit for the marginally improved living standard in Venezuela during his tenure is a joke.
Oil is their economy. It was $10 a barrel when he took office. It shot up to over $100 a barrel. Other South American nations with less oil wealth improved standard of living at a greater rate during the same time period.
Hugo raped that nation's economy for himself, his family, his supporters, and his voters. And he shut down all opposition.

See "$2 Billion fortune left to his family" as referenced in Gordosans comment. He is no different then any other socialist. Get rich and live the high life off the backs of the poor while standing up in the media as an advocate of the poor.
