Dude cares about nothing more than collecting his check and being a fat fluck ....unbelievable that he couldn't invest 2 months to be in a pennant race and benefit the Astros at the same time. What a fat piece of shiat.

Astros need to explore the Jed Lowrie trade options. I know a deal for Zach Lee was rumored, and if they could get him it would be tremendous, but doubt it ever comes to fruition. Somebody out there should offer up something though.

The Astros aren't contending in 2-3 years. They would have to replace 6 of their 8 position players to be respectable.

I promise you the Astros aren't contending in the next 2-3 years. Everyone on the big league roster should be expendable at this point.

If they don't contend by year 3-4 with the new ownership group baseball will be dead in Houston for a generation. The Astros better be able to be at .500 by 2014 or the stadium will be a ghost town. The stadium is empty now.........but it will get worse.
