I don't know a single white person that voted for Romney because of the color of his skin.
Right now, the biggest problem in the country is the economy, in general an jobs specifically.
I have 2 choices of who I want to run my company.
One is a community organizer that has proven he doesn't have a clue how to create jobs.
The other is a centimillionare that has turned around several businesses and created a bunch of jobs in the process.
Gee. I wonder if I can say no-brainer

I don't either, but I think we would be naive to say that it doesn't happen just because we don't personally know any.
I totally get your point on your reasoning for you casting your ballot for Romney. But just because he is a centimillionaire and has created jobs in his business for others, means he will do the same for the entire US? Both Bush's were millionaires, but weren't very good as Presidents(younger Bush in his second term). And let's remember govt. doesn't create jobs, the people do.

That was exactly my point. I gave just one example. Here's another:
A nothing community organizer who got elected to the Illinois State legislature and then is catapulted to the US Senate - he then serves a couple years before being elected POTUS after accomplishing absolutely NOTHING in his legislative career.
No way that could ever happen to a White guy.

You may not know a single white person who voted for Romney because he is white, but I assure you that there are many that voted against Obama because he is black -- whether you know them or not.
Regarding your assertion that Romney created "a bunch of jobs" in the private sector, if you include the THOUSANDS of jobs he created in China, I would have to agree. His activities at Bain cost American workers dearly.

Give it a rest Bj - you're embarrassing yourself.
I don't know which Bush you are speaking about but both had much more lengthy resumes than Obama before assuming the office of POTUS - not even close.
And Eisenhower was only a 5 Star General and the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in WW2.
Sorry, but if you're going to try and defend Obama's background and his qualifications to be President you'll lose that argument big time.

Embarrassing myself, huh?
You probably need to go back and check what the context of your statement was. You stated that he(Obama) had been catapulted into these elected govt. positions all the way to POTUS, to prove a point of being black was an advantageous position.
George W. Bush and everyone else that I mentioned held ELECTED govt positions for a shorter period of time than Obama. Your argument holds no water.
If you read that as me defending his background or his qualifications, then you my friend have a comprehension issue and I can't do anything about that.

Look bro...I don't care who you vote for...It's not going to affect me one way or the other. I'm going to keep doing what I have been doing. It also doesn't matter if the photo was a prank or not or if it was by black, white, green, yellow, blue or what ever color, race, or creed. The fact that anyone would do this is repulsive. I am not here to convince you of that. But my good friend Buckhorn seems to think that these feelings do not exist.

Some conservative papers agree with you. One professor I know well had Romney at 310 and he voted for Obama last time. Like many he felt that Obama would have been wise enough to govern from the center. No matter how hard the liberal press will try most all of us will say that we are not better off than we would 4 years ago. Honestly, however, I am financial much better off than 4 years ago in that I was able to buy lots of equities in March of 2009.
Now I have puts in and lots of cash fearing another 4 years of environmentally insane policies and a foreign policy that defies all reason. I believe Obama will be declared the winner.

The last four years have been good for us as well JFW. But it was because I had the foresight to load up on gold/silver (bullion and equities) in 2003. Also, we hit a home run on our gas investments (Barnett Shale).
Looking forward to Tues night. The only problem I see is this Chicago bunch of thugs stealing the outcome - otherwise, I still believe Romney wins.
