It's almost that time of the year. Yeah it's time to see Christmas movies. My favorites are as follows.
1. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
2. Trading Places
3. Four Christmases
4. Scrooge preferably any old version
Please sound off with yours.
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants".
A Christmas Story. Its a classic.
There's something on the side of the box I think it's Italian fragilly too funny.
That's my wives favorite
I almost forgot Bad Santa. Great movie, but for sure not a kids movie. John Ritter and Bernie Mac were awesome.

A Christmas Story is a quality flick, but nothing captures the family dynamic and general beating that a consumer driven Christmas has become like Christmas Vacation. We put it in the DVD player after our Thanksgiving meal, raise the Batronic Christmas tree and enjoy the hilarity that it so accurately portrays. Except this year. This year we'll be in ATX so that ceremony will have to wait until the following week.
And I don't know why, but I was always a fan of Santa Claus the movie with Dudley Moore playing Patch, the elf who nearly destroyed Christmas. Just liked it as a kid.

I love Christmas vacation, I liked the entire trilogy well with Chevy Chase that is. I only watch the movie at Christmas time it just gives me happy memories of Christmas. Just a hilarious movie. A very funny movie in my book." Merry Christmas Merry Christmas Merry Christmas kiss my ass, kiss his ass, kiss your ass, Happy Hanukkah"
Vegas Vacation was pretty forgettable, but the other three were excellent with European Vacation being the weakest of the three.
Btw, some of the oldies but goodies shouldn't be forgotten:
Miracle on 34th Street
It's a Wonderful Life
And my vote for Christmas movie so bad that it's good:
Earnest Saves Christmas and or
The Night They Saved Christmas
Your right on Vegas Vacation. I liked its a wonderful life but I just didn't like it enough to call it one of my favorites. Classic movie it is without question.
Little Buddha ... Oh, wait! Never mind!
How has no one said Die Hard yet itt? Easily my favorite.
Classic quote by John McClane, in Die Hard (1988).
The George Bailey flick with the bell ringing angel.
It's a Wonderful Life.
The best Christmas movie of all time.
I enjoy watching Polar Express with my kids.
I'm surprised no one has said Home Alone.
It a Wonderful Life
If you haven't seen it in 3D at an IMAX theatre, I highly recommend it.
