And he busted his ass for four years to be the best Horn he could be. I for one will be glad to remember the plays he did make -- and over four years as a starter, he made a buttload of them -- than the ones he didn't.
Hook 'em, Blake.
Hayden Christensen - to merely call him wooden is an affront to puppets everywhere...

Never understood the despise and hate some have for overachievers . . . . .
and most often they do so making excuses for some more talented player who doesn't want to put in the work and effort to unseat said overachiever.
OTOH, it really pisses me off the way guys like Muschamp and Diaz intentionally tried to throw games playing guys who "spilt blood" for the team.
It is a valid point there is little point in a new thread.

Sorry if my starting this thread came across as me hating on Blake. In fact, my intention was the complete opposite. It just seemed like this pops up every damn thread, albeit only by a few people, and I was trying to shut it down by voicing my frustration over this blind negativity.

While I agree that he was a kid who played hard. Probably a good teammate and student athlete. But that doesn't change the fact that he was an average at best safety. Nobody is doubting that he didn't max out his ability in the classroom or on the field. They're just saying, and I agree, that he wasn't a very good player whose deficiencies are pretty obvious to most.
