He will give quality depth next season but he's still a sophomore. His time will come in 2014.

Any news on Cameron Hughes. Will he be in the mix next year?

Walters and Espinosa have been the two weakes links on the OL for two years. They are what they are, and neither is very good. DJ has all the tools in the world, and what you lose with experience you upgrade in talent level.

LOL. Walters is probably the best lineman on the team. No argument about Espinosa though. He needs to bulk up or become a backup.

I hope not, but in a good way. For Texas to get back to where they were, they need to start grooming OL to come and

1) RS as a freshmen
2) Play scout team and get some reps at the tail end of blow-outs as RSFresh.
3) Break the 2 deep as RSSo which can mean starting.
4) Be full own rotational players their JR and SR. years Rotational players is different from the 2 deep. The 2005 OL had 7 guys that played in the rotation, the 5 starters and Garica + Hills.

If Texas can get back to that type of development then I would suspect their OL woes will be greatly reduced, not too mention they might actually start getting guys drafted in the 1st round against ala Davis and Williams.

Cochran should play TE.

RG - Walters
RT - Estelle

I'd toy with Flowers at RG too, but Walters' leadership and attitude might be irreplaceable while his play on the field is average.

Harrison,Walters,Hopkins,Riser,Hawkins is good too IMO.
