Agreed. Still trying to understand what Harsin was doing with running back to back plays up the middle with Bergeron when we sacked G. Smith at the twelve. I was expecting some play action pass or wildcat. It was pretty evident that we weren't successful throughout the night running up the middle.

I agree. I said this last week after Okie state game. I thought Gray earned the right to get more carries for this game, particularly with M Brown out. Harsin gets locked in to things (trying to force the run game in the middle) and forgets what he has in terms of personnel. We can't afford to do that when we need scores in critical situations

Couldn't agree more. It frustrates the hell out of me. He runs too high to be maximally effective even in short yeardage.

Joe is supposed to be the bruiser, but he is getting taken down by arm tackles time and time again. On one play in the 4th quarter he got brought down by a dt with one arm and lying on the ground.

He kept running right into the pile and ignored the holes.

Also, is this the 1st game Harsin didn't call a trick play?

We should use Joe B like we used Ivan Williams once we moved him to FB in 2002. Gray should get the RB carries until brown is back.

He needs to be the 4th quarter back when the middle is softer.
