Who would you take off talent alone.. Dez or Blackmon

This is strictly talent!! I saw a guy on another thread say that JB was better.. I know this isn't HS, but he was the best HS WR these eyes have ever seen.

Dez. And it's not close for me. That guy was a game changer whenever he touched the field in college. His issue is upstairs. One of the top 5 talents to ever come out of East Texas.

I think the premise is just wrong...........you have to include character, intelligence and mental toughness as a part of having "talent"
Dez has none of the above and Blackmon appears to have all 3. Is Blackmon as explosive as Dez .........no! But as Bobby Knight always says "you can't coach stupid and lack of character"

On physical talent alone, Bryant, hands down without question. Guy was and can be a beast, if he can pull his head outta his butt long enough.

Character and intelligence have nothing to do with playing football... I can see mental toughness tho. Dez has that. He wants the ball in all situations, period!!

Does talent include running the correct route? Dez may be more talented but if he is not where he is supposed to be on a route then is not the best of the two on the field IMO.
Also a Dallas Cowboy fan so I hope Dez can put it together this upcoming season.

Look Dez is an idiot
But talent wise he is on another level than Blackmon.
Dez problem will always be playbook and learning to read defenses.

It never has been and never will be only about physical talent. If it were, recruiting would be a far simpler task. Football is much more about team chemistry and sacrificing yourself for the good of the team than it is about individual skills. If that weren't so, I'd never watch another game. That may explain why I stopped watching basketball. That entire sport has devolved into nothing but an amalgam of me first primadonnas.

I never saw Roy Williams play in high school, but Dez Bryant is probably the closest thing I'll ever see to him.

I don't really think Dez has character issues. Lying about something to do with Deion Sanders, wearing baggy pants in Northpark Mall, not wanting to carry Roy Williams shoulder pads...that kind of stuff doesn't really bother me at all.
