For me, Mike Mitchell would be a great addition to the team.
I will be disappointed if he is not offered - if not now, at least after spring evaluations. His film is very good,
and his brother is a very impressive basketball player. I appreciate their father's enthusiasm, as well.
This weekend will be interesting.

I think some of the OOS offers and invitations to attend JD2 tell us something about who may / may not get offer on JD2.
We invited M.Harris (DB), Luke from Arizona (DB), and offered a ship to Vonn Bell of Georgia (DB). That leads me to believe that the Texas coaches aren't likely to spend the 2 available ships on DBs at JD2. That's not good news for Mills, A.Davis, C.Collins, Janice, etc..
The invitation to Bosa leads me to believe that the coaches don't have another DT that they're ready to offer at JD2 (since I think Bosa grows into a DT, and since we already have an offer out to Manning).
By contrast, the lack of OOs invitations and offers to DE and LB prospects (only Ward has an invitation) bodes well for in-state guys to get offers at JD2. I think this points to D.Davis, Prevot, and one of Hollings / Mitchell.
So, I'll guess Perkins and Warrick on offernse, and 3 guys on defense - D.Davis, Prevot, and one of Hollings / Mitchell. That'll give us 16 offers outstanding to JD1 and JD2 attnedees, and we may close as many as 14-15 of these eventually. Only Manning, D.Wilson, and R.Samples seem to be continuing to deliberate. If the total ships available are 17-20, that leaves a handlful of ships available for late bloomers, continued evaluation guys (like N.Hughes), and OOS guys.
I want the following...Please make it so...
We need to leave room for a guy like Rhodes as well...What would have been his offer chances if he was able to make it??
