The wrong guy left. Why couldn't it have been Mack or Manny? Can't believe this is an upward move for Harsin. He bailed out before Mack was fired next year is my take on this.

Bobby, you mention that Harsin's offense didn't really fit the Big 12. What about the offense will most likely be changed with Major as OC?
In what ways could this new hire tell us about the future of the offense and even Mack's/majors tenure at Texas?

Hammock would probably get Texas that RB out of NJ and current Wisky commit.

You don't choose a coach based upon 1 recruit it might get you. Just get the best coach we can get.

I agree. I would probably go with Brewster and move Chambers to RB coach. TEs need to be coached up IMO.

I can`t see anyone joining a staff that has the potential to be one and done. Another reason Mack should retire if he truly cares about the future of the program.

Brewster. not even close. he recruited better than even Mack did at Texas. Colorado had their chance. Minnesota was never going to work. BRING HIM BACK.

While I'd love to see Mack retire, we won't have an issue getting a top notch coach for this opening.
