Maybe on producing QB busts. Don't know why the NFL continually picks USC QBs high. Palmer is the only one that's had even any average career.

Take away the arbitrary 15 year window and I don't see how its not Stanford. John Elway, Jim Plunkett and Andrew Luck is about a good of a trio as you're going to find from one school.

So this article is just looking at getting guys drafted into the NFL....not producing great NFL Quarterbacks I presume....I see soo many busts on this list...Aliki Smith, Joey Harrington, Jimmy Clausen and the list goes on and on....

at one point in the 90s, the university of maryland had 5 qbs in the nfl at the same time.

Probably should make a note about NC State, since Wilson was only at Wisconsin for his 5th year.
Rivers, Wilson, and now Glennon. That's a lot in just 9 years.

Purdue has some history: Len Dawson, Bob Griese, Drew Brees
Bama: Bart Starr, Joe Namath, Ken Stabler

DB - Texas vs. LSU vs. OSU vs. OU (only school with 3 Thorpes)

Miami has a much better argument than those last two.
Amazing how much the U dominates this list.
As for QBU... USC without a doubt IMO.

OU has to be in discussion for RBU with 3 Heisman winners then throw in guys like AD, Lil Joe Washington, Greg Pruitt and that's tough to top. QBU is probably the toughest and most fun to debate.

I would say USC edges out Miami and ND as qbu but its gotta be close, Stanford was already mentioned, what about Washington, they've had several I know.
Had forgotten about Purdue history till this thread, that's as impressive as any.

In the late 80s/early 90s, Miami was QBU. They had a good run with Jim Kelly, Bernie Kosar, and Vinny Testaverde.

Texas should be in the running strongly for RBu. In recent years, we go from Ricky to Priest to Cedric to Jamaal Charles, plus throw in a couple of full backs and other RB's who stuck around for a few years like Ogbannaya and Selvin Young. We have at least 2 NFL bound RB's on the roster right now, with Bergeron also having a chance as a pro style RB and Daje as an APB. Hopefully, Fozzy makes a team when he's healthy - he just got a 3 year, unguaranteed contract with Arizona.
It's hard to imagine someone has a much better track record that us.
