Great time to get into college coaching for HS coaches in Texas.
Art Briles, Chad Morris, Todd Graham, etc...are very good for HS coaches aspiring to be on the next level IMO.

Mack Brown should add more staff IMO. He obviously is maxed out on on-field assistants but he could grow the staff easily.

Westlake did have two starting QBs in the NFL this year (Brees and Foles). Sadly, neither went Texas. Plus a pretty clutch kicker named Tucker. Seth Mckinney and Kyle Adams are in the league. Add in Swope and it is not too bad for a bunch of over-privileged white kids.

There are no limits on off-field staffing. However, there are limitations on what off-field staff members can do.

A lot of guys will get in any way they can.
Since he wasn't a HC, he likely has to start lower and try to work up - quite a few do.

Guys, sometimes a job like quality control represents a step toward a career that pays very well and gives one an opportunity to be around a program that one loves. Many in here would if asked take a similar position at The University.

Interesting that you say this. Most of the D1 kids from Westlake have gone on to really productive college careers. Foles, Hager, Swopes. I think Texas actually could pay a little more attention to Westlake.

Clint Kubiak finished his GA position and that creates movement for a new GA and then QCA. Hope Kubiak the Younger is able to get on somewhere.
