Horns247 Board

We are very excited about the launch of Hookem247.com as well as the 247Sports network. We are confident that Texas fans will share in that excitement and enjoy a product that will be unlike any other in the market place. We will be staggering the product releases, such as the recruiting database and article pages, in the coming weeks and with that said, we are very excited about this first version of the message boards. In the next couple of months, 247Sports is going to change the game in both recruiting and team coverage.

For the time being, this message board will act as a combination of a free board and a premium board. What you see is merely version 1.0 of the message boards, but this is already the most advanced and user-friendly message board I have been a part of in the business. (Yes, private chat and other features are on the way, but make sure you check out the video embed feature available now.)

Jeff Howe and myself will provide content as we continue to build the most comprehensive University of Texas site in the business. Howe comes to Hookem247 from InsideTexas and is one of the up-and-coming young talents in the business. His coverage of Longhorn recruiting in the last year was second to none.

As for myself, I am a 11-year veteran covering college football recruiting. I’ve been around the block, whether it’s Rivals, Scout or most recently ESPN. I’ve covered recruiting both in the state of Texas and nationally and will continue to do both for 247Sports.com.

At Hookem247, I’m glad I’ve found a place I can call my own, and with a company committed to providing a game-changing experience that will capture all Longhorn fans.
