Jeffcoat needs to sit, he hasn't done anything so far this year. I really wonder if he's playing injured because he looked like a player last year. Okafor and Randall don't look much better either. Diaz's blitzes need a lot of work too. I was really looking forward to the blitzes this year since Muschamp rarely blitzed, but it seems our blitzes rarely work.
Did you watch the same game I did???!! Okafor was bull rushing like crazy and getting an amazing push, but if we had some push up the middle it could've made a big difference. I guess that's what you get when you play a three-man front.
The fact of the matter is, Jordan Hicks and Keenan Robinson both missed their gap assignments on those two long draw plays. Also, Texas had the opportunity to win the game, drove multiple times in the first half into Pokes territory and turned it over on downs, INT, etc...
Texas played well, just didn't capitalize on the opportunities. Overall I was really excited to see the drastic improvements made in many areas.
We desperately need an edge rusher in this class
