Very slick. Good stuff Gerry. Will Hookem site have exclusive video content or will everything funnel through the 247 youtube site?
Also were those clips a compilation of soph and junior stuff?

Gerry, what do you think about Kendall Thompson. My impressions after seeing him play twice last year is that he would be good coming off the edge. I just didn't see the natural instincts that one would like to see in a LB prospect.

You see them you watch him play 7on7 and I watched some game film with the Carthage coaches this spring and I saw a kid who could play any of the three linebacker positions, including the buck.
He reminds me a lot of Emmanuel Acho to be honest. Thompson does a great job of finishing plays and he's got very good hands (I think he'd be a D-I TE recruit he played there exclusively).
I think he's also in much better condition that he was in last season. He's a kid that as his body as taken shape he's become much more fluid in coverage.

I think he has the best ball skills of a LB Texas has recruited since Derrick Johnson, although Jordan Hicks is right there. He has great hands and has a knack in coverage. I think he's a 'buck" all the way. I don't see how he isn't 250-255-pounds early in his career at Texas. I like him as a edge rusher, but with those ball skills/knack to be very good in zone blitz situations.
Texas really, really loves Thompson.

Why does all your video appear to be in fast forward? Im sorry but I think it's pretty gimmicky.
