Looks like he has some Limas in him. Different guy than Jake Oliver. Looks to be more explosive. In this film, the kid isn't using moves to get into the end zone. He's just blowing past people.

And guess who his coach is? Todd Dodge.
If KD is gonna slow play at or lean to the Green and Gold, we need to at least show him we are real interested. This is the type of kid that ends up on the National 247 with a bullet.

Does not look like sub 4.4 speed to me. He does have very good hi-point skills. He looks like a Oliver re-dux to me. That's not a bad thing IMO It's obvious that the qb has been coached up and gets the ball out quick and to a point and lets Gray get it.

6'5", 200lb kids who run a true 4.43 aren't recruited at TE, flex TE. I'm thinking his 40 time is generous.

Just because he's tall and white doesn't mean he's a TE. He's too lanky to be a TE. He's legitimately fast, but I don't know about 4.43. Bottom line is he's a WR prospect.

What the hell is the purpose of a "flex" TE, and does anyone else actually use them? I can't think of anyone off the top of my head who's been successful at that position.

I completely agree. It seems like at least 10 players who recently played this "position" never amounted to anything. To be fair, they were mostly just "parked" there because they couldn't get on the field in their true position.

Exactly, which is why I don't see what the purpose of it is. If they can't cut it, advise them to move on and make room for a player they think could actually benefit from a scholly and play their true position. It's a ridiculous position that was (i assume) created by Mack and co so that feelings wouldn't get hurt. Jesus, how hard is it to go out and recruit an actual TE?

Someone that isn't fast enough to play WR or physical enough to block at TE. It's a made up term to justify horrible offers.
