We need to get to Hochstatter early today. He can struggle with control sometimes.
Had more walks than strikeouts as a freshman.

A few years ago, this would shock me. But the state Texas baseball is in these days, I'm not surprised. At all. Anything and everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Even a triple play with the based loaded and no outs.

Final 7-2 Stanford wins game 2
I would think the Horns really need to win tomorrow. 4 in a row after a good start would not be good for the confidence of this young team.

I agree on all counts...................middle relief was not good today but this will be fine because of the pitching and the athletes..........

Point is, this team is built on pitching and defense - without run support, most games will be close - still have time to gel but lets be honest, this team is struggling but will probably get better
