Going to go ahead and make this the game thread for tonight. I'll be in and out tonight.
Big series for Texas after last year's debacle out there. Horns have looked good to date (save for the Sam Houston State sleeper), but they've yet to play anybody of significance. That changes this weekend against No. 15 Stanford.
Probable Starting Pitchers
Texas: RHP Parker French (2-0, 1.35)
Stanford: RHP Mark Appel (1-1, 1.93)

Why not? That blows. Its not like its not Texas if its on the road. Poor job by espn. Thanks for the info.

Not Texas or ESPN's call on that one. There are many legitimate reasons to be frustrated with LHN. This isn't one of them.

Weiss walks, nothing else doing for Texas in the top of the 1st.
Payton got some good contact, but it was caught a few feet short of the warning track.
