Here's a different take on the three '13 QB's.
He is fast
"The early narrative that developed was that Swoopes may have an edge in straight line speed, but Barrett was quicker, which is more important. And it is, which is why you should be doubly pleased with Swoopes because he's the quicker of the two. He can change direction, shift sideways full yards at a time with little warning, and can keep a defender off balance enough to make it even less likely that he'll go down. I disagree with much of the author's views. It reads like a fluff piece.

He basically nails it. This staff basically rules, as well. Pick out the right guy for the right reasons, go get him. No messing around or equivocation.

With Swoopes I wonder what the odds are that HarsinWhite uses the pistol offense. A really athletic dual threat quarterback can be deadly from that formation, especially with running backs like Brown, Gray, Bergeron (and hopefully Hicks) behind him.

My hope is that Harsin is correct in the end. Happy that he got his first choice though.

He is certainly bigger and stronger than Barrett. Both of their releases need work, but Swoopes is getting the ball out quicker now. The speed and quicks thing is hard to tell the difference, though Barrett has some very nifty runs.
The Harsin part is pretty definitive for me.
