I agree...and Texas was his favorite team growing up.

Nobody on the staff is pushing him. Wyatt doesn't want him as a WR. Applewhite isn't looking at him as a QB. Diaz isn't at linebacker and Akina isn't at safety. His parents are really good folks. He is a yes sir kind of kid that has run in the 10s in the 100 meter (electric) and he has run sub 4.4 (electric) at 6'1" and 185lbs.

If Texas wants to turn a kid, this one is a good candidate.

I really, really liked this kid at Texas A&M camp a couple of summers ago. Was one of Mike Sherman's first offers in that class.

He can really run and covers hashmark to boundary with ease. Good hands too.

I think he will do really well at TCU - for Coach Patterson.

Gerry is it just an evaluation issue with Akina? Is Akina ok with skipping a safety this year because of current depth and a lot of attractive prospects in 14?
