The Big 12 is dead in 2-3 years. Unless you mean the one with TCU, Texas Tech, SMU, Houston, ISU, KSU.... I don't think aggy could win that league either.

Agree with you accept Tech...............I believe Bill Powers said publicly last year where Tech and Texas would be together for a long time.

Unless the Horns go independent it is hard for me to believe Texas goes anywhere without Tech. I also think Powers made that comment when the aggies were playing footsie with the SEC last year and Texas was thinking about the PAC 10 option.........

if the aggies prefer the sec over the pac 12, they made the right choice. i agree with Bobby, the big XII won't make it another two years.
funny, i guess in the grand scheme of things, a&m was our craziest rival, and OU turns out to be an ally.

You may be right. But one thing is clear... the game has changed. By letting A&M make a unilateral decision leave for the SEC without any review of the potential impact to other Texas schools, there should not be any political pressure on Texas to take Tech along if we get a deal we like that doesn't have room for Tech to tag along.
That being said, we have more history with Tech than any of the current PAC-12 (or Okie Lite either), so we ought to let them ride our coat tails if we go West.
