I've been surprised at this series. I really thought the Thunder was going to take it (prior to the series beginning), and now I think Miami looks like the better team.

Miami has gotten 3 great games out of Shane Battier, who came into the Finals averaging 5.7 points. He's averaging 14.3 against OKC. He's only averaged that total once in his entire career, his rookie season. A big reason why Miami is up 2-1 is Shane Battier's offense.

True, but he basically isn't being guarded at the three point line. Ibaka, Perkins and Collison are completely ignoring him and collapsing into the paint to give help on James and Wade. Miami is moving the ball and finding him for wide-open looks.

Which is no different than any other series Miami has played this post season. The big difference is he is making them now, when he has never really made them before in his playoff career.

It is actually. Most teams can bring in much more athletic "4's" than Ibaka and Collison; who simply aren't comfortable defending anywhere outside the paint. Battier has been the same looks he gets in shoot-around in this series.

KD is disappointing so far. Appears to disappear on defense and complaining too much to refs on offense. He's left his man open on several wide open 3s on basic transition defense.

Not so sure..............remember the Thunder have played in the playoffs one of the toughest schedules in recent memory. They defeated the Mavs, Lakers and Spurs..............the ample lady might be taking a deep breath but the opera ain't over..............

Hard to be ready when you average the second most free throw attempts through the entire season and can't buy a call during the series. Reminds me of Texas basketball teams going to the tourney back when Barnes first got here. A lot of those teams were real physical and would get away with murder in the Big XII. Then they would get to the tourney and two of our key players would be on the bench in foul trouble before the half. Officiating was just completely different.
I also hate Shane Battier.

Harden has not been good. People bitch about Westbrook but Harden really needs to pull his head out. Bad bounce passes seem to be the trend.

I can agree about the refs but they cannot be a crutch. There is enough about the play of the Thunder to criticize, irrespective of the refs.
I hope they prove me wrong but this is starting to feel like the Mavs of 2006. Worry more about what you can control, play hard and stop whining to the refs.
