    Rod Babers was talking about one of his former teammates doing the same thing. Got homesick and went home to hang out with friends without telling anyone. Hopefully this is what is going on with TJ and he is found safe soon.

    Did Babers say whether those players had not been heard from by anyone for 3 days? Hate to assume the worst, but this doesn't look to have a happy ending.

  • Brent Zwerneman says last time Johnson was seen or heard from was 5pm Monday. He was supposedly leaving for practice which started at 5:15.

    The Zwerneman tweet didn't say he was on his way to practice. Just that he was seen leaving his house at 5 and also that practice started at 515. Sounds like he was not planning on attending practice. Other sites are saying he has a "history" of things like this and there is a tweet from someone who might be his girlfriend who tweeted Rashaad Samples "Thomas good".

    Obviously hope for the best but this could just be a case of a kid going off the reservation for any number of reasons.

    The tweet from the gf wasn't based on anything factual. She was just hoping that Johnson was ok. No one has heard from him, which is why the CS PD has started a manhunt for the kid.

    If the gf had actually talked to him then this story wouldn't be as big as it's getting.

    the areas to the east, west and south of Fair Park have the highest crime rates in Dallas. Lincoln and Madison are in that immediate area. This area between I-30 and the Trinity River is what is called South Dallas. When you hear Oak Cliff, that's on the other side of the Trinity along the I-35E corridor. Pleasant Grove is south I-30 in east Dallas. That's where Skyline is located. Not Southlake, but not South Dallas by any means. South Dallas is as rough as any hood in the country.

    Actually, it's hard to tell. According to this article which was updated recently...

    He's missing/no one knows where he is but that doesn't mean he hasn't contacted his girlfriend. Not saying that's what happened but how could the university basically rule out foul play if no one has heard from him?

    You're not missing much. Pretty much all of Dallas sucks.

  • TJ was always a fun kid to cover. Always joking and gave some great quotes, much like former teammate Peter Jinkens. I hope he's ok and just had to get away for a little bit or something simple. Thoughts and prayers to his family (and him).
