All I said is I believe he was trying to steal from me by re-opening my account to "win" a petty Twitter claim. It's true and not the least bit slanderous. I can prove everything I've typed via Twitter posts and emails, but I appreciate the concern.

I didn't really post this with the intent to turn it into a bitch session about OBloods or Ketch. I posted it b/c I know Gerry and Jeff and understand their competitiveness with regard to their profession. I also know from all reports that Bobby and Shannon are the same even though I've met neither.

I've seen different interpretations on what the comments might actually be alluding to (i.e. Ketch angling for an ESPN move) but in actuality don't really care what he thinks. However, I thought it would make for good fodder for the mods and subscribers to see how the primary competition to Hookem and 247 is already trying to marginalize their efforts.

To what end is anyone's guess. However, this thread will be archived and when Hookem and 247 are dominating the recruiting landscape I will resurrect it so that we can all have a good chuckle, smile and nod at each other b/c we all knew at the time the comments were ridiculous.

No, there really isn't. Maybe a hanful are good, but most (seriously) have very little knowledge about sports, get all douchey when someone disagrees with them. They're all a bunch of little Ketchum's over there.

It's not Hornfans, but they drink A LOT of the burnt orange kool-aid over there. it quickly becomes fantasty land and excuses when something happens.

I get you hate everything Orangebloods but there is some good people over there, and some good people in person if you've met any of them at get together's. You've got quite the big paint brush out just because you hate Ketchum. The internet is a big place, and there is room for multiple sites. Funny enough lots of people on this site still post at OB and vice versa. I maintain memberships at both locations. Its no big deal.

I am disappointed in myself that I missed this thread for the past three days.

I don't hate everything over there. Just like i said in my OP, i think there are a handful of good posters and that's it. The site is too slow, and coverage that's already been on the interwebs for an hour is still going behind the pay wall. I hate the site and Ketchum more than the actual posters.

You can find most of the good posters other places these days. I have been following some of these guys since the 360 boards. The only one I haven't seen is rpongetti. I don't know if he is still on OB or not but that is the only guy that I haven't seen somewhere else.

I was a long time subscriber at OB with many different handles through the years. In college my money would run out and I would create a new username a few months later when mom and dad sent the money. Sorry about the tangent...point is the board has changed quite a bit and in my opinion it hasn't been in a good way.

Too many things to get into but the bottom line is that I didn't feel the product that was being sold to me when I left was worth what it was in the past. I left over 2 years ago and have had no problem getting the same speculation and information that they deliver. I think a good lesson for most is that of complacency...sort of the theme of the Titanic when you net it all out.

speaking of slow the one big complaint that bugs me about this place currently as its not very active. Not talking about content and work from the mods - that is top notch. I love the content here and love Bobby's work so I signed up, but this board posting traffic wise seems stuck in mud. I usually see 800-900 people online every time I log in and there is still multiple threads on the first page from yesterday. Love or hate the other board but that never happens. So much posting there its hard to keep up sometimes. Hope it gets like that here as it feels more like a community, esp if another board can be added for off topic posts so people can make this a home for more than just pure recruiting and thats it. An active site that turns over more than one page of threads a day draws more attention and visitors which leads to more participation from the poster base - just my two cents
