I believe he was trying to steal money from me, and I had to email his superiors at Yahoo in order to get him to apologize. Even then it was a half-assed "let's just forget about it" apology.

I don't see many posts on this site about Rivals or ESPN, but if there is one, I'd like the opportunity to say that Ketchum is an unethical scum bag. Those of you giving him money should reconsider.

This, in my opinion, is an oft-overlooked part of this site.

This site will tell you what is going on for kids in the entire state, not just the ones headed to Texas.

I, for one, appreciate the hell out of that. Gerry and Jeff are beating paths all over the state in a manner that is unparalleled in this market. Period.

I left Rivals before 247 existed because the quality of product had become so poor that I was getting better (factual!) information from Twitter and Shaggybevo than I was getting from Rivals. And on the op-ed/pundit front, Barking Carnival was beating the tar out of them. So I left, and made sure the folks over there knew why.

The selling point of this site is no-nonsense facts. That's what I pay for and what I get. Op-ed I can get for free.

no kidding. I came to this site hoping to get away from Orangebloods talk, and yet it seems every month or so you find a multi page thread bitching about how bad Ketch sucks or whatever. Maybe its just me, but I don't visit sites I don't like and don't waste time complaining about them. Hook'em stands on its own. The top notch content here speaks for itself. Another Ketch bitchfest is just giving them attention they prob don't even mind. Let it go

i got banned from orangebloods.com for calling some of his guys hacks.

this board doesn't have as much extraneous traffic (i always preferred to go elsewhere for my chicken brines anyway),
and i've realized that Gerry H. isn't the biggest Barnes fan but knows a whole hell of a lot about college basketball
and Howell keeps me up to date via Twitter and the whole approach over here doesn't make me want to stab someone
in the esophagus.

it's not about the web address, it's about the guys providing the content, so if someone buys this site up, good investment. while the OB staff is spending time on half-assed AM radio content, the guys over here are chasing recruiting stories all over state.

I am confused. Ketch personally stole money from you or rivals did since OB has nothing to do with billing.

Now if you are claiming he has stolen money because the site is subpar then that is a whole different story.

Because he has a personal issue with me. It's a loooong story, but I'm confident in what I'm saying.

Ketch was accusing me - publicly, on Twitter - of still subscribing to his site. I told him that I did not. He went in to my account, found out I was telling the truth, and messed with my account info. The only reason I found out is because I received an automated email from Rivals about it. I had to contact his superiors to get confirmation that I was still cancelled, and Ketch's replies to my inquiries were to tell me to just forget about it.

That's shady.

Combine that with other anecdotes, his gambling habits, etc. and I stand behind what I originally said.
