I don't know how serious OU was about playing Blake Bell some at TE, but it would make sense for two reasons:
1. Very good big athlete that could help out because of how thin they are there
2. Having him on the field with Jones and not having to run him on for their run package (allowing the opponent to also make changes) would make it even more lethal.
Whaley, if fully recovered, will be good.
Finch and Clay are good role players. OU shouldn't want to be forced into any position where either has to carry the load.
Damien Williams will be a player.
And of course you never know which Landry Jones you are going to get.
Not a believer in K-State....but I'd say it's a toss up...If Ash can make a few plays(and don't turn the ball over)..he doesn't have to be spectacular..I'm going with the Horns..
This is a year when the champion will have 1 maybe two losses. Three way tie for first between UT, OU, and KSU. It will be an interesting year all the way to the end with OSU and Baylor improving throughout the year and knocking someone off.
They say it is never as bad or as good as it seems. The truth about OU is somewhere in between where Sooner fans and Longhorn fans claim it is.
I got to see metoyer play a lot in high school, trust me they want miss a beat at wr.
