On Texas specifically...
"Texas has been very aggressive recruiting Desmond. They are talking to him every week, as much as allowed by the NCAA rules, and Bo Davis and Stacy Searels are talking to me regularly. Of course, I know Bo Davis real well. Bruce Chambers has been out to see Desmond too." Alonzo Carter said.
I go the impression it's NC State, Texas, Oklahoma and USC with Texas and Oklahoma likely having the best shot at the end of the day.

Sorry, I have no faith in anything remotely related to Mack. There is a reason there is a dog pile on this coach and team. When you screw up an anvil in a padded room, you deserve it. Times 10. Doesn't bother me if anyone thinks I'm negative towards this program. Until I see tangible evidence to the contrary, we will be lucky to sign 15 in February. Feel free to blast away. I can take it. This is an opinion board, isn't it?

Most definitely. Only time will tell, but I still think Texas has an "allure" to it. It even did after 5-7.

If we can somehow get Billings and Harrison to finish off this line class, then it be a homerun offensive line class we desperately need.

On the positive side, Mack has a lot of experience selling Texas to recruits after getting beat down by Stoops. Would love to know how he explains it away because he usually beats out OU on recruiting head to head.
