Good read, Jeff.
The staff at Hookem makes this a bad ass place to be! We thank you for the work and insight you all bring! Please keep it up!! There are also some very good and knowledgeable posters on here!
Kendall was a kid who needed to red-shirt. Just didn't have the experience to be ready to play line-backer at the college level. He also is a guy who was always a candidate to spin down to defensive end. If we don't take a Juco end in this class; I won't be surprised if he's moved.
Evans and M. Thompson both will ultimately see the field. Just too talented not to do so. If Mykkele can't learn the nuances at safety; then he needs to move back to the offense. Ultimately, Evans is going to play as a cornerback. We're going to lose two starters after next year. He's going to have a spot. Never write off kids who have only been on campus for one year.

It looks to me that at TE, UT is just chucking stuff against the wall and hoping that something sticks right now.
On the QB situation, it's become pretty obvious to me that Ash has been given every chance to leave Case in the dust and for whatever reason, hasn't really done it convincingly yet. For about as long as I can remember, the line about Texas was that the most popular guy on the team was always the second team QB. That is definitely not the situation right now. Case is about as popular as a pole cat at a bridge party.
That's my two cents worth.
"I've heard some of our fans say, 'We were always an SEC school. We just didn't know it," athletic director Bill Byrne said.
