I think it certainly could. Numbers are already tight and they just got tighter.
Assistant coaches are given a certain amount of scholarships per position. I'd say that it's possible it would mean one less OLB in play for this class.

Do NFL coaches get paid during a lockout? Would Gray get guaranteed $$$ in case of a lockout?

Guys I really enjoy the "The Latest" feature................it seems the only thing being reported is football related. Can we get some nuggets on Baseball practice and Basketball recruiting? Thanks for your hard work it is appreciated by the members.............

Under NCAA rules, a prospect attending junior day must pay for his own transportation to campus and has to pay for his hotel room if he stays overnight. Recruits can't make an official visit to a school, in which the school is allowed to pay for transportation, meals and lodging, until Sept. 1 of the player's senior year of high school.

Does the Tevin Jackson news change what Texas will do at LB? If nobody transfers, Texas will have 10 LBs on campus for 2012, two of which are seniors. 2 in 2012 would bring it back to 10 LB, and 3 would bring it to 11... aren't both of those kind of high?

I will be surprised if there isn't a transfer at some point.
I don't think 11 LB's are high if 1-2 have the versatility to play end on pass rush situations, etc...
I will say the speculation continues that Edmond could end up at end. Guys, I don't see it at all. He's an ILB all the way. He's a 6-3, future 250-pound ILB all the way too.
