Here's a thought. Why not let Ash run it? Put Brown and Bergeron on either side, put JGray behind and just play backyard football basically. You don't have to take anyone out, it doesn't pre-determine a run or a pass and if you want to give Ash a run/pass option based on coverage you can.
Just an opinion but I don't see Bergeron or Brown running it. I see them as more traditional backs.
I have read several reports about Gray being a GREAT receiver. (Not good - Great) He might be better in a more traditional running back position as well. He sounds like our 3rd down back if he gets the blocking thing down.
Johnson and Monroe should have their hands full with the T & Z package.
I'm kindof hoping it falls to Overstreet and Thompson. I think they were both high school QBs. It might add a passing option to the package.
Heck I think we need to put Malcom Brown back there. At about 300 lbs and quick on his feet and good with his hands he would bring back shades of the fridge.

I thought Brown looked horrible with it last year.

I would also argue that DJ is better suited to be the motion man coming across the formation, which is a key piece of the wild formation as the danger of him getting the ball coming across the formation helps to freeze the defense just long enough to open some holes.
I would also think that Daje Johnson would likely fit better in that role as well.

Overstreet is only choice because he has run it years
Who cares about the wild whatever? Give me Bergeron, Brown or Gray running from the I formation with good blocking over a junk offensive set any day.
