If Flowers is as good as it has sounded going back to last season and he still doesn't crack the starting lineup for the start of the season, I can't wait to see how good the running game will be this season. Given all the postive reports on Flowers, if he can't get into the starting lineup, the starting 5 must be pretty darn good.
And Malcolm Brown and Bergeron proved last year how good they are when healthy. And then Gray and Daje are added to the mix this year.
Then if Ash can be just incrementally better this year than he was in the bowl game - just good enough to make defenses at least think about the possibility of a pass being completed - that will open up the running game even more. And I'm still holding out hope that with a full spring, summer and two-a-days of getting most of the 1st team reps, Ash can improve significantly instead of just incrementally.
Gets me pretty excited.
