You may be on to something here. I worked a very hectic, high stress, ever changing job for 30 years. After about 25 years of overcoming obstacles and constantly seeking improvements in the way we did business, knowing the end was near, I seemed to need more. I started getting my rewards from the relationships I had built (or failed to build) over the years. They started becoming my priority. As a result, my work probably did suffer.

Mack may be going through the same thing. It seems his relationships with his players are more important than getting the most out of them. You seriously may be on to something here. Maybe me and you should have a little sit down with Mr. Brown.

Ash did not have a great game but before I say he was never going to be good, I saw a very bad O line play and then the play calls were questionable.

Maybe he was never comfortable and that is something he has to work on but I don't put him being the problem at the top. Yes, 3 TOs but....

The d was confusing again. no more to say on that.. I just don't get it. Other teams and pro teams adjust on the fly... we don't need a 2nd half, we need to teach a DC how to play against a 2 back even if it does not show on film.. "oh, 2 back, then we play this.. your keys are x, y, z".. no 2nd half time needed.
