Are you sure you are not talking about a medical redshirt? I thought that they could not play past the 3rd game due to injury?
If we're to normalize Mack Brown's career at Texas for two transcendental QB's, you can just about call this "resurrection" campaign a wrap. After another inexplicable, embarrassing and unforgivable anal-blasting at the hands of Oklahoma, Mack has his team playing significantly closer to its potential (i.e., underachieving less!) late in the season after Texas has surrendered its ability to control its own destiny for a Big XII title.
Texas fans are back in familiar territory of drawing out flowcharts and running Monte Carlo simulations to determine the scenarios and mathematical odds of Texas somehow backing into a conference championship. The scenarios all have one requirement in common - OU has to lose a game it shouldn't. If they take care of business, Bob Stoops probably wins yet another Big XII title.
