I don't think many people picked Texas in this one. But 17 points at half... Good god. How long will it take Barnes to put together a team that isn't offensively inept AND doesn't underachieve in the tourney? Seems like it's one of those two things that happens each season.

That little sequence just summed up the game. Texas assumed it had a basket and Cincinnati played to the whistle.

why not go to the left and use the rim as protection instead of the right and ball end up in the stands?

If you aren't going to dunk that, you have to use the correct hand so your body can protect the ball. Great play by Texas until McClellan lazed the layup.
My NC State prediction is looking good. Not that it helps ease the pain here much. Up 33-29 at the half and Howell with 0 fouls. Leslie and Wood have 2 each, picking up 3 of them late in the half, but NC State looks ready to take over inside in that game.

Holy shit the Cincy coach is a dumb ass. Had the cushion with our guards being crap against the pressure hen he switches to zone and gives wide open looks which is the one freaking thing Brown and McClellan can do right today. If we come back and take this one it'll be because that switch gave us the open looks to get on a roll, and that would be 100% on that coach.
