Texas was threatening with runners on 1st and 2nd and just one out, but Taylor Stell grounded into a 6-4-3 double play to end the inning. Headed to the top of the 4th we're still at 0s.
Well, I'm surprised. Peters back on the mound throwing warmup pitches prior to the 4th. If he gets one out this will be his longest outing of the season.
Central Arkansas gets on the board first, scoring on a throwing error by Etier. The Bears had runners on first and second with two outs when Blake Roberts hit a grounder that Etier picked up in deep short. His throw may have been late anyway but he missed Alex Silver and the runner from second, who had made it to third by the time of the throw, easily scored.
Longhorns get the run back with three straight two-out singles in the bottom of the 4th. Alex Silver led it off with a shot up the middle, followed by Jacob Felts' singe to left and Brooks Marlow's shot to right that scored Silver.
Etier ended things with a hard hit ball to right that went straight to the fielder.
Central Arkansas gets the run back with an RBI single by Michael Marietta that scored Bryan Wilson from second.
Texas got a little lucky. The Bears had the bases loaded with one out and Felts tried to catch the runner at third taking too big of a lead. His throw down the line wound up in left field, but the home plate umpire called batter interference, so the batter was out and the runners had to go back to their bases. Curtiss got the next batter to strike out swinging.

Horns retake lead with Payton triple then a single by stells to bring him in... 3-2 horns

Stell taken out for a pinch runner. Christian Summers now on first.
Also, Central Ark makes a pitching change. Ethan McKenzie (0-1, 4.35 ERA, 20.2 IP) is now on the mound for the Bears.
