Somehow I get emails from Bleacher Report, do not subscribe. They said that Scout, ESPN, and 247 all rank aggie ahead of us in recruiting this year. I know we lost two huge commits recently and saw a big time recruit pick Baylor over us.
With the move of Aggie to the SEC and the hiring of Sumlin, are the aggies going to be more of a force in recruiting? My opinion is yes but would appreciate input from Mods and others. With the possible exception of Luke I am hopeful but not optimistic about any OOS recruits and have no clue how we will end up with in state players.
The LHN is a mess, four teams have bailed from the conference and Dodds is anti any quality team entering the conference, ND being an exception, back to back awful and mediocre seasons could impact us. I hope not but would appreciate thoughts.

new to this whole recruiting asset of football, but im a stats nerd.
doesn't this mean that class rankings aren't normalized (averaged) in anyway based on the number of recruits ?
ie if texas has less recruits with a higher avg ranking, i would expect their ranking to be higher .. or is that another statistic ?
shouldn't we really care about avg recruit ranking to number of recruits ?
