  • The SEC looks to be loaded yet again. I can't wait for the season to start.

  • No where to go but up after last season. Will see if Augie has a fire lit under him this season.

  • Doesn't matter what Texas does, they'll still win 2 out of 3 vs a Galloway led Sooners. My brother was getting a little attention from TCU last year and took a visit down there. They're gonna be tough this year.

Pathetic that we didn't get a tournament invite last year... I am interested to see how the batting improves with the new hitting coach.

Well, it's not just under Galloway - considering the fact that UT is 139-51-2 against the land thieves joke of a baseball program.

While we aren't Texas, I wouldn't call two national titles a joke.

  • Only 3 Big12 members in the top 40, not good.

  • The entire men's athletic department is in retreat. When was the last time U.T. baseball opened outside the top 20.

I'm not all that worried about where we are ranked right now... it's the end of the season that I'm more concerned with.

Barely. I think they finished somewhere near 110 in the rpi last year. There's a lot of talk that they want to build a new stadium since they're in a conference that cares about baseball. I'm a baseball fan above all and can't wait for spring!

  • I had a kid that played for me a few summers who transferred to WVU for this year. They are building a new stadium, and it should be ready for '14.All of their BIG XII games will be played in Charleston this year at a minor league stadium. All of their coaches have Texas ties, as Mazey was @ TCU, Matlock started at Flower Mound HS, then TCU, then Texas State. And their other assistant is Trout who was the head guy at Texarkana JC last year. They are recruiting Texas hard now and already signed some '13's for next year from the metroplex.
