Dave...............Horns have a chance to win back to back games for the first time in a long time (it seems) Assuming Texas wins in Lubbock I would think they have a good chance to win 3 in a row for the first time in a real long time.

Whats your take on the Horns mental state right now?

On another thread we were discussing the possible 2nd round game in The Big 12 Tournament vs KU or KSU. We know even with Myck the Horns are not as good as either team but get lucky........get by that game and then the path is easier. That second game, because the Horns play in the first round, is the key game. Playing on day 3 would really be interesting..........

Remember the close losses vs BU, WVU and OU to start conference play.

However I am realistic about this team.................but this really since the NCAA Tournament bracket was announced in 2011 the Horns got screwed in their bracket (as a 4 seed) and then the horrible bad call vs UA .........it is like Texas is snake bit.

We are due for some good luck. I am hoping, but not expecting that next week.

second defensive breakdown leading to a Tech basket. Not a good start. Only one good look at the rim so far on offense.

OK, losing the ball on the rebound wasn't that bad, but not chasing the Tech player to the perimeter where he squared up to shoot was.

Tech jumping ahead early 8-2. Texas needs to wake up... very sluggish start for them.

And on first possesion, Tech gets it to a player at the rim and he gets the basket and tthe foul by Ridley.

..............feel like the Horns turned up the defensive pressure. So maybe they are listening to you.

Did they just say the Horns have only taken FOUR shots in the first 6:30? Wow.
