    No, I don't think he's a Case hater but a "terrible judgement call bad throw into quad coverage" hater. He would hate anybody who makes a throw like that.

    Stupid. The wide shot shows a receiver by the sideline with the DB 5 yards off him & ready for the throw but no, Case has to throw for more yardage into the middle of the field with virtually no chance Ship gets to the sideline even if he makes the miracle catch.

    Side note: I agree Ash's picks were terrible.

  • Agreed the coaching staff needs to go & the dead weight players do not need their scholarships renewed for 2013-2014. Somebody please clean house, because we have a huge mess in Austin. lynchmob

    If that was the #16 team in the country that just lost to TCU at home on Thanksgiving night, the country is in trouble. This is one of the worst coached teams in the history of Longhorn football. Way to much talent on this team to play like a bunch of JV high schoolers.

    MACK......end it!! It's over for you!!

    Texas will never be back to an elite program as long as Mack is the coach

    This is called a knee-jerk reaction. Something UT fans are notorious for. I saw Ash. He had an awful game. No question. But saying that we therefore have "no starting qb" doesn't follow. I was at a game against KSU where Major threw 3-4 picks and had the exact same kind of fumble Ash did tonight. I was at the Big 12 Championship where we got throttled by Nebraska and Major had three turnovers. I watched Colt have multiple turnover games. It happens. You don't jump off the bandwagon after everyone of them.

    His point was that Case lobbed an unnecessary pass into quadruple coverage. That was the last thing he should've done on that play.

    If criticizing that decision makes WeakDefense a Case hater then almost everyone that saw that play is likely to be a Case hater. Case himself would not defend that horrible decision.

Case has ATM last year and prevented a loss to a crappy Kansas team that Ash tried to lose! Nothing stellar for either guy. Just average at best and usually less than average.

  • We were beat by a better coach, better coaching staff, and a better prepared team. I wonder if we are not out recruited also, Give me TCU's defensive line, especially those ends. I have said it all year that Mack needs to go but I am afraid it is going to be a slow trip down the Big Twelve standings for the next two years before anything is done.

    Again, he is the 11th rated qb in the country in DIVISION 1. He has accomplished this against all DIVISION 1 schools. Is he a NC qb? Not right now. Not even close, but to say he isn't a D1 qb is absurd. He is a solid D1, middle of the conference qb right now. Will he develop beyond that? We better hope so, because senior to be Case McCoy sure isn't the answer.

  • I am fed up with being embarassed on national TV by teams with inferior talent and way better coaching. tcu came out with fire in their belly and Texas came out it's usual listless self. The defense played down to it's usual low standard, missing tackles, being out of position and giving up big plays. Managed to make a very average freshman QB look good. And to make things better, Ash decides not to show up tonight and the receivers drop pass after pass. Horrible coaching and underperforming players seem to be the standard for Texas. Fire both Mack and Manny, NOW!

    The fact of the materr is our head coach and both quarterbacks suck ass. No team can win with an inferior head coach unless it has a superior qb. Mack had this with VY and Colt.

    Ash's QB rating was 9th in the country according to ESPN's page. If he's not a D1 QB, what does that make the 108 D1 QB's that are rated behind him?
    He's made mistakes and he's had days he'd probably like to forget or hopefully learn from, but what QB hasn't?
