  • The Horns didn't have a chance to win since about the 15 min mark of the second half but it feels different than the KSU and OSU losses in Austin. I thought with the exception of McClellan the Horns gave an excellent effort today. I know at Texas there is no such thing as a morale victory but this one shows Texas hasn't given up on the season.

No, but they looked tentative again. They weren't very focused for most of the game.

Would agree McClellan and Juice (at times for Lewis) played without focus but the rest of the team played hard..........not always well and smart but hard. VS KSU and OSU in Austin we did none of the above...........

  • Predictable result. The only surprise was that OSU came out a little flat and let us take the early lead. OSU came after him defensively; and he simply was focused enough to deal with it. Once they gained their focus and turned up the intensity; we were completely over-matched across the board. Myck looked tired today after playing 37 minutes per game during his first games back. Once OSU came after him defensively; and he simply wasn't focused enough to deal with it. Rick once again benched McClellan before he had any chance to get into the flow of the game, so we were without #2 scoring option. . Ridley and Ibeh were no shows. Papi had a couple of early looks from the three that he made early; but then OSU simply took him out of the game.

Lewis was active and as usual was a willing shooter, Just not many go down. Lammert gave a nice effort; but simply isn't capable of defending the post at this point. Holland was playing out of his league. . The one guy who had a nice game was Feliz. Best game he's had in while. But OSU simply was more talented across the board than this team. With Rick's rotation, more talented at every position on the floor. You aren't going to win many of those games.

Now we have to regain focus. Our next three games are all winnable. It would be nice to finish out on a little run.

I thought we only had two games left. Best thing to happen for this season is for it to end. Then you hope Texas can pull off a couple of small miracles in recruiting.

We have 2 games left...........some people have spent too much time in the "weather" lately. However he is correct about the games being winnable. BU however will be playing for their lives Monday night. They are one of the last teams out of the NCAA Tournament..........BU just lost in unbelievable fashion to KSU so they should come into Austin really down..........

No, three games. Tech and Baylor regular season, then first round of the Big XII tourney against either Tech or TCU. Three winnable games. Then either Kansas, KSU or OSU in the second round and the season ends. It really wasn't a trick question on an advanced placement test. .
