Texas-Coppin State game thread (FINAL)

Man, I dunno about this team.
They lack ballhandling overall, energy/leadership, and a superstar....on top of that, they are dealing with a Rick Barnes' coached offense. Tons of standing around, lack of movement, so-so screens, improper passing angles, etc.
They seem like a good, solid group of players with good potential, but right now they look very, very rough IMO.
I'm hoping Kabongo coming back will make a difference in terms of energy and leadership, but I hear he still can't really shoot. And this team looks to be a half court, slow it down team, and Kabongo doesn't really fit that style.

Wow Fang hasn't gotten any kind of talent up there at all since that late 90s run of good teams. They're terrible.
The team looks like a bunch if freshman and sophomores playing basketball. Good play followed by boneheaded plays. Not understanding the proper way to get the angle for the entry pass to the post directly caused 3 turnovers. Just going to take time and game experience but the talent looks to be there. I'm happier with Ridley and Ibeh who look better and more active so far.

I think Kabongo (and some seasoning) will make a big difference come Big 12 play.

We're raw and long. Quite a different chemical makeup than in recent years. Hope we can keep most of this nucleus for the next 3 seasons. Going to be tough down low against these guys.
