Nice backdoor cut by McClellan to get open under the basket. Holmes with the pass.
Horns still going zone on defense. Not a bad game to get a ton of work in there because of Coppin State's inability to hit shots.

Texas is going to have to learn how to finish at the rim IMO. They've taken a lot of fouls, but they've also missed a lot of shots they should be able to make around the basket.
Other than that, and a few other frosh mistakes like bad passes or not being ready for passes, I like the way they're playing.

Sheldon has to play this aggressive for them to reach their ceiling.
Coppin State is so bad though it is hard to get a feel.
I will say though that the zone defense does look much better "coached"
You can tell they have a much better feel of what to do.
Lammert is a player. I have seen him make three high iq plays the last two games.
No backup PG without Kabongo.
Still a lack of spacing on offense.
Need more of an emphasis to get the ball down low on offense.
When Ridley figures it out, he is going to be good.

Its on 98.1 on Austin radio. Last year the games weren't on iHeart Radio. I had to either listen at texassports.com or on the radio.

He got called for a block with the body right before getting a block earlier. Just now drew a charge. Very skilled on defense.
