On the other side, Kabongo doing really well to finish at the rim tonight. Taking contact and still finishing.

I'm so glad Texas didn't try to run clock on that possession.
I don't know why the crowd is so upset. Obvious foul with the body.

This team could be good next year if half the guys take the next step, and that's without Randle.
Croaker would be huge to add some more offensive firepower.

Definitely one of the best. Great defensive energy and effort on the boards. The 3 was falling tonight which opened up the offense big time.

Good win. Papi was money, Kabongo controlled the game start to finish, McClellan was the guy we thought we were getting this year, Ridley played his ass off.

All the parts played well together for the 1st time. Kabongo, McClellan, Papi, and Ridley all played well. Lewis hit the big 3 to give Texas a 2 possession lead. Holmes and Ibeh battled.
Best team effort all season.

Except on Saturdays. Since Kabongo's return, 4-0 in weekday games. 0-3 on Saturday. Maybe that changes in Lubbock.
(Of course, that means we're money in the Big 12 tourney until the championship game.)

To win the conference tournament, Texas is likely to have to go through KU, KSU, AND OSU.
I'm thinking Texas will win in Lubbock. If WVU loses out (@ OU, vs. ISU), then Texas is 7th seed.
KU, KSU, and OSU are pretty much guaranteed to finish 1-3. The only way that won't happen is if OSU loses its last two games and OU wins its last two games. OU has the tie breaker, since both will have split with KU, KSU, each other, and ISU, but OU has a pair of wins over Baylor.
As the 7 seed, Texas will play TCU in the first round, then advance to play the 2 seed. If it wins it plays the winner of the 3/8 or 3/9 game. Then it will have to play the winner of the 1/4 or 1/5 game, unless somehow the 8/9 winner knocked off the 1 seed.
So, expect the road to include KU, KSU, and OSU.
Like you said, not a great chance.

Did anyone understand what they said in the 2nd half about Kanomgo and returning? Wasn't sure if he told the reporter that he "hoped" it wasn't his last game in Austin or if I just misheard...
