As the shot went up, Jefferson was in the ft circle, looking to crash. Ridley was in the paint, near the ft line. Ridley looked right at Jefferson, raised his forearm while facing Jefferson, and he made contact very high. The initial contact was just below the throat, but the blow rose into Jefferson's throat and to his chin. Boom, and down he went.

Depends on how you define "ending." Texas outscored UCLA 7-2 at then end of the first half. Texas had to rally to force OT against WVU in game one, against ISU in Austin, and the huge rally to catch OU to force OT in Austin.
