Horns made just one of their last five after starting 4-of-6.
I like that they're trying to take it inside, though. Just gotta finish...and keep Baylor off the boards.

Could be a good sign that McClellan's first attempt goes down. He's the kind of guy that needs to see a couple to go in to get fully involved.

Horns playing really good defense in the paint and doing pretty well in that area on the offensive end as well.
McClellan with a strong drive to the rim gets Texas to within two, 21-19.

Sheldon should have taken that hard to the rim and taken the foul. Ridley is an easy foul when you dump it off like that with the way he shoots FTs.

Great D on that possession and Baylor uses its 7-footer to sink a 3 with the shot clock expiring. Not much more Texas could have done there.

I know the announcer was claiming good defense by Ridley, but I can't understand the sense of having him try to harass the ball handler outside the arc. I'm not faulting his effort; I just don't understand having him do that as a part of the design of the defense.
He did make a very nice interior pass to Papi on the other end.
