T. Boone helped TCU get into the BIG XII?

That's what he claims. Also says he'd like to see SMU get in too...
Bobby, Gerry, guys? Have y'all heard anything about this?
Also and interesting anecdote: T. Boone played basketball at A&M for one year and they didn't renew his scholarship so he went to OSU. I wonder how powerful A&M would have been had he graduated from there.

Interesting. Reportedly, he said this at some engagement at the Winspear Opera Center last night.

I've never seen a guy publicly give himself credit more than T Boone.

Haha. I'll admit it does seem like he has no problem letting people know when he's done something good, rather than just letting it be and not taking credit.
