I would agree with the overall assertion that Championships are what it's all about. I would promote the fact that I had more if the shoe was on the UT foot as well. However, as these super conferences emerge, you will see less and less importance around winning conference championships. I doubt that LSU is content being the SEC Champions in 2011, and I doubt that Bama gives a flying flip that they aren't the SEC Champions in 2011. They are National Champions, and didn't need to win a conference to be that.

I dont see super conferences happening. In fact, I would just love it if the B12 stayed at 10 or got rid of TCU and IAst and put in ND and FSU. We are the only conference that has a true champion where teams dont miss others on the schedule.

Im sure thats what will happen, but I love the round robin. If and when we add teams, it needs to be the right teams. FSU makes total sense. ND would make it a very good two name and money wise. VT for competition.
