Statement from Jerry Gray

Kirk Bohls p***** me off because he sometimes writes things I don't agree with and sometimes has the audacity to say things I might not want to hear. And in my paper, in my team's town, he sometimes writes bad things about my team. I cuss him, I gripe about him, and I vehemently disagree with him quite often.

And I keep buying those papers or going online to see what he wrote next.

Like I said, he knows exactly what he's doing. Never said he wasn't good at it - as a matter of fact, based on the vitriol spewed about him not only on this site but on others, I would say he's pretty darned good at what he does!!

Hats off to Kirk for his community service but that has nothing to do with this. My pastor is one of the best people I know... but I srongly disagree with him all the time. Of course him being an aggy doesn't help things...

This. I know what Bohls is, because I am one myself: A s***-disturber.

You are responding to my accusation that you are jumping to conclusions based on false assumptions by... once again jumping to conclusions based on false assumptions.

Your rejection of my interpretation of the most efficient way to send group emails is either naive, irrationally apologetic on his behalf, or a combination of both.

I see a clear distinction between making false assumptions/jumping to conclusions, and coming to a logical conclusion based on the features of emails/texts that allow one to work faster and more efficiently by putting names above a body of a letter and the copy/paste options.

I also make that distinction. Logic requires discipline, training and focus in order to implement it properly. You have failed to either demonstrate evidence that would support your claims or to admit your ignorance.

The reality is that people make up their conclusions first based on emotional and irrational desires. They then actively ignore any evidence that would disagree with that conclusion, or construct whatever logical apparatus needed to support that pre-ordained conclusion.

In short, what you say about Jerry Gray's character says far more about YOU than it does about HIM.

In other words, you are accusing Gray of using the most efficient means of communication over the more personal means, because it's what you yourself would do.

I absolutely agree with everything above you just explained and the semantics of it, aside from one sentence.

''You have failed to either demonstrate evidence that would support your claims or to admit your ignorance.''

Because I don't have physical evidence that he typed 87 individual messages, I can only come to what I feel is a the most logical conclusion based on what yes, myself, would do, but also anyone I've ever interacted with. But I also wouldn't have left the program. I feel the last two sentences support my claims. If you disagree with me demonstrating evidence, fine, but it's not an issue of ignorance.

Whether or not I've passed the burden of proof isn't up to just you, but I appreciate your issues you have with it.
