As disappointing as the TCU loss was for the Longhorns, the team that really looked bad last game was K-State...Klein threw for 3 INTs and K-State could not run against a weak Baylor defense (ranked #119 of 120 teams). Baylor's offense ran for 342 yards and 5 rushing TDs vs K-State's porous run defense.

It will all come down to who can run the football...that will decide this game. The most interesting Longhorn storyline for me is: How much will Malcolm Brown touch the ball...Ive been counting on him to get those power carries to continue where Texas left off at the Ole Miss game in September but nothing the last two games...

Against all odds, I will say Malcolm gets his carries, Texas to get 150+ yards rushing (they are 8-0 when rushing 136+yards this season) to win 35-31. Cheers and Hook Em!

I think it will be similar to OU. Just as the ou players taunted the Texas defense by telling them before each play they were going to run it and you can't stop it, K State will do the same. There is no magic bullet that the Longhorns are going to finally figure out how to stop a running attack - and against the best running team in the Big 12.

I don't think the offense will score 10 points as the KState defense will stack the line and dare Colt to throw farther than 20 yards. He won't have much time to even get those throws off and if he keeps throwing wounded ducks up for grabs like TCU, I expect at least 3 interceptions.

I think this is going to be a slaughter and end any discussion by Mack that the team is better than last year and are getting ready for a championship run in 2013. I hate to be so negative, but just basing it on how they have played this season.

Between Klein and Hubert, I'll bet K-State piles up 300yds on the ground. They'll need that 'cause they won't get much through the air.

There's been so much consternation around Manny and schemes that we don't even talk much about the combined toll of injuries on defense, especially if Okafor can't play much. If we were healthy and played straight up we'd have the "puncher's chance" Bobby mentioned. Unfortunately though..
